The purpose of this test was to see if I could recreate the water from the Lego Movie without any outside help. It only took about an hour to figure out. In the end the test was a pretty productive use of my time. I think i'll be implementing this technique in a project sometime in the near future. 
Because it was R&D I basically used an emitter in Realflow with the default settings, in a box, then meshed it with the default settings. My goal wasn't to get it to look great, but to figure out how to replace the fluid body with Lego pieces in a stop motion style animation.
